Would We Still Be Poetry Book
I carefully selected repeated imagery found in James Knippen’s book, Would We Still Be? For this particular image, I chose a dreary forest, lit candles, and the moon. I wanted this piece to represent the dark undertones of this book. I overlaid the images and added some paint strokes to give the words a place to sit. I picked a purple and green duotone to emphasize its dark and dreary nature.
